Safety extra-low voltage in a low-voltage system.
technology
Technology that stays in the background.
Light-IT is meant to feel simple in the room. Behind it is a 24-volt system with documented light quality, tested electronics and clearly accountable production.
Bridgelux Decor LEDs for natural color rendering.
Documented according to EN 55015 and EN 61547.
Registration number DE 98382511.

testing
Tested before it looks beautiful.
The visible form is only part of the product. Power supply, rail, contacts and spots have to work as a system. That is why we document the relevant electrical and electromagnetic requirements for use in dry indoor spaces.
- CE conformity with documented technical files.
- EMC assessment according to EN 55015 and EN 61547.
- RoHS and REACH compliant material and component selection.
- WEEE registration: DE 98382511.
light quality
Color as it is meant to be seen.
We use Bridgelux Decor LEDs. They are designed for very high color rendering: 97 CRI, high R9 value and color temperatures from 2700 K to 4000 K.
For living spaces, 2700 K is the warm, calm base. 3000 K to 4000 K are useful where objects should be shown more clearly, for example in exhibitions, kitchens or work areas.

24 volt
Why we work with 24 V.
Low touch voltage.
The system works with 24 V DC. This significantly reduces electrical risk in everyday use compared with mains voltage and suits a lighting system that remains touchable and movable.
Slim integration.
Power runs through a discreet rail. Spots can be placed magnetically, moved and re-aimed without reinstalling the room.
Clear limits.
24 V does not make the system a toy. For mains connection, fixed installations and unsuitable surfaces, the manual and proper execution matter.
Important: Light-IT contains strong neodymium magnets. Keep distance from pacemakers, storage media and sensitive sensors.
larger installations
Voltage drop, power and custom solutions.
For normal installations, Light-IT stays straightforward. With very long rail runs, many spots or special mounting situations, it is worth looking closely at feed points, power supply, dimming and substrate.
Voltage drop on long rails.
On long runs, voltage at the end of the rail can be slightly lower than at the feed point. Depending on length, power and number of spots, spots at the end may appear minimally dimmer.
For larger installations, such as 20 m, 30 m or 50 m of rail, multiple feed points can make sense. Polarity, cable cross-section, power supply rating and adapter load must match cleanly.
Power supplies and limits.
The shop offers standard power supplies for typical installations. The largest standard unit currently available in the shop is 60 W. For larger projects, stronger supplies can be used.
Load distribution matters: standard adapters are designed for a maximum of 80 W. If more power is needed, power supply, adapters, cables and feed points should be planned together.
Dimming and smart home.
For dimmable installations we use power supplies with a standardized 0-10 V control input. It is simple, robust and compatible with many control systems.
This keeps dimming open: wall dimmers, potentiometers, Wi-Fi or Bluetooth controllers, smart-home systems, building automation or simple rotary controls can be integrated depending on the project.
If you only want switching, switched sockets, radio sockets or smart plugs can be used, for example with Alexa, Google Home or Home Assistant. Brightness control on dimmable power supplies happens through the 0-10 V input.
Mechanical mounting.
The rail is a very thin magnetic stainless steel strip and is mounted by default with a 0.9 mm black PE foam adhesive tape. The closed-cell foam compensates for small unevenness; the acrylic adhesive is intended for clean, smooth and suitable surfaces.
On long runs, wood substrates, near stoves, direct sun, conservatories or unheated rooms, metal also moves with temperature and substrate. In such cases it can make sense to hold the rail on individual fixing points rather than bonding it fully. For projects, the stainless steel strip is also available without foam tape.
Cutting and corners.
The rail can be cut with normal sheet metal shears, so lengths can be adjusted on site.
Corners are possible as well: guided around, separated or restarted depending on the situation. For visible installations, plan the path first so cuts remain visually calm.
Lenses, light colors and adapters.
By default, we supply the spots with our regular optic. For special applications, wider lenses and color temperatures from about 2700 K to 4000 K are possible.
Ceiling adapters are 3D printed. For projects, variants in shape and color can be made when they need to suit surfaces, visible installation situations or special mounts.
For larger or unusual installations, we recommend a project request. We can then assess power supply size, feed points, adapter solution, dimming, substrate and temperature range together.

documentation
Not everything belongs on the homepage.
Technical details belong where they help: in datasheets, manuals and clear product information. The homepage may stay light. The responsibility behind it does not.
production
Clearly developed. Cleanly executed.
Product idea, construction, electronics, light concept, material selection and technical specifications are created by us. We do not manufacture everything in one place, but where it makes technical sense.
Own development.
Form, mechanics, contacts, thermal design and system logic are defined and continuously improved by us.
Mechanics and assembly.
Visible parts, fit, assembly, testing, packaging and series release remain controllable through short paths.
Specialized suppliers.
We source circuit boards and LED components where the right industrial expertise exists. What matters is that they fit into the system according to our specifications.
packaging
Cardboard instead of plastic.
Our set packaging is designed around cardboard. No plastic inserts, no blisters. The parts are guided cleanly, protected and sorted in a way that makes sense.
Good packaging protects the product, explains the sequence and can be returned to the paper cycle at the end.

for interiors
For rooms that are being planned.
Light-IT is especially useful in projects with interior designers. We support the lighting path once the room, materials and furniture already have a direction.
